:purchased for each chipjack. That implies that you can't simply link to a
:CED to gain its benefits. However, there is nothing saying that you can't
:dedicate a CED to headware memory ...
It does say "This accessory must be purchased separately for each
chipjack." I think the operative word is "accessory". As implied by the
"Accessories and Systems" rule on p. 45, accessories are built as part of
the system they enhance. A CED part of a chipjack, and enhances its
function.
