:Since the CED doesn't make sense as is (even game balance can't really be
:argued as a rationale for the mechanics), I think I will implement the
:following house rule:
:CEDs are per skillwires system. All loaded (active?) skillsofts have
:access to the CED dice pool. This makes the limitation of restricting the
:CED to the skillwire's rating more logical.
Can't a CED be used with Knowsofts? Why do you need skillwires at all?
There's other ways to beef up skillwires, by getting more MP capacity and
using skillsoft programing options...
Also, I'm not aware that Skillwire rating places any limit on CED
rating. The limit is simply that pool use (including task pools form CEDs)
can't exceed skill level (including skills granted by skillsofts).
