Theoretically it would work. Detect Enemies works, so an area effect Slay
Enemies would too. Could be touchy though. Just imagine, Joe Mage
accidentally steals someone's parking spot. They swear and feel a moment of
anger toward Joe, then their brain explodes because of Joe Mage's quickened
Slay Enemy spell.
Anyway, it would severely disrupt game balance for such a spell to exist, so
possible, likely and useful as it is, I wouldn't personally allow it.
