So on a heavy weapon, tracer rounds give +1TN for recoil after "making it
easier to hit"?

I like Cowboy's house rule, except I can't really see a way to justify
carrying over tracer bonuses without doing the same for recoil (which in my
worn-out state appeared to be his suggestion). The only logic I can think
of in making it's bonuses worthwhile is making the bonus -1TN instead of -1,
but then, I can see that unbalancing the game as clips full of tracers are
emptied with only the third point of recoil countin from every burst.
