This is an interesting point, actually... I've noticed that there are a
lot more gaming references the last few years in TV, Movies, and
Commercials, though it's usually in at least a tongue-in-cheek, somewhat
negative light. (Let's face it, it's ok for US to make fun of the
stereotypical gamer geek (and we ALL do it :)), but not ok for THEM to? :)).
Off the top of my head, I can only think of a couple of gaming "references"...
* X-Files -- Lone Gunmen dude playing D&D
* Yellow Pages Commercial -- Nerds playing D&D, Yellow Pages Phone Book
gets thrown at them and opens up to dating services.
* E.T. -- Elliot's older brother played D&D in one scene.
* Angel -- The Bill Gates-like dude is a gamer.
There's a few others... Like that show with Christina Applegate from a
couple years ago. Any more for the list? This'll get added to the
Shadowrun gamer if... and Redneck Dragon lists :]
