Just another random point... I was talking with a friend last night about
the whole scythe thing, and he pointed out that actually the troll on the
cover of Fields of Fire is weilding something that, while I'm sure it would
be more classified as an ax, or polearm...is undeniably in the shape and
configuration of a scythe... So it's not unheard of... Just impractical as
all get-out.
