Well, there are two things to take into account with that picture. First,
Luis Royo is, I think, primarily a fantasy artist. It's not likely, in my
opinion, that he painted the troll with a scythe for any reason other
than "it looked cool". Second, that's a troll. Troll's can wield unweildy
weapons better than other races. Even so, a scythe is going to a pain in
the ass for a troll to wield.
