That was on last night over here. It was an alternate history where Fry
didn't fall into the cryo freezer. It opened a dimensional rift, and Al Gore
and his team of nerds, Steven Hawkins (sp?), Uhura from Star Trek, Deep Blue
the chess playing super computer and Gary Gygax came after him.Gygax rolled
his dice every time there was a decision to be made, and lent Fry his +1
mace to fight off drunken robots. It ended with them all floating in white
nothingness, and Gygax pulling out the old Monster Manual and suggesting a
game of D&D.
Funny stuff, but sad too, coz it was the final episode (for this season, I
hope).
Hang on, I recognised the Monster Manual. MY GOD! I'M A NERD!
