Point 1: I *really* like this idea. I may make use of it.

Point 2:
This works well with the neural-net technology, as this technology
would lend itself to developing AIs better than removable media
would.

Except that unlike in the arc, they won. Not understanding the true
nature of what they were up against, they called it a Virus,
because that's what it acted like.

Seems as good an explanation as any, plus it meshes with the
idea that Deus can create his own otaku.
