A kilometer is 5/8 of a mile. To covert miles to klicks, multiply by
.625 (a neat head trick is to divide by eight and multiply by 5).
50 mph = 80 kph. Just reverse the process to go the other way (divide by
5 and multiply by eight to convert miles to klicks) I picked this up in
my 4 years living in Germany.
