Here are the thing I got from RBB
this is a listing of the # cruise-max speed of air vehicles

x3 zero

x2.5 1
x2.286 2
x2.25 1

x2 11 yes 11

x1.5 3
x1.375 1
x1.368 1

Now most of the speeds seem to be x2 but these are a lot of military
vehicles. No drones were included. The 2.5 was a slow zeppelin.
the 2.286 + 2.25 were a commuter, the ares dragon, and Plutocrat. respectively.

So what we have is 11 x2 with 4 greater and 5 less
= 9 not x2.
but because of the spread I would argue for a x2 for air vehicles
