Feeder _and_ ArkAngel have valid points. I know there are a large number of
people out there who can't stand to have the slightest bit of unreality in
their gaming, and there are others who shudder at the thought of numbers above
ten (unless they've got their shoes off :). Me, I'll take the middle route.
What say we use these nice equations thoughtfully provided by the authenticity
mavens to produce some real numbers. Then stuff 'em in a chart or three, so
that User X out there can look at, say, a large car and see a variety of
engines to put in it.
I'd be willing to bet that some ambitious programmer type (which I certainly
am NOT) could take those equations and whip up a dinky little program that would
put all the numbers into a nice neat format. And hey, we could always put the
equations into appendix A or some such so the authenticity mavens could have
their fun too. It's a big Matrix out there folks, there's room for us all.
Besides, this is fun, right? Right? Treat it as such--we might not get done
_quite_ as fast, but there will be less stress on all concerned.
