We're not going to give you the wet carp treatment for a simple question. The
reason we're using 4 different volume units is simple. Because lots of things
in a car that take up space are not being taken into account.
BVU (Base Vehicle Units) is there to indicate the basic size of the vehicle.
It also gives you the number of units you have to work with in your vechicle.
An ESU (Engine Space Units) takes two spaces because it also reflects the
transmission and undercarriage of a car, and like things in other vehicles.
Aslo buy saying some BVU are ESU you avoid silly things from Car Wars like
reducing the size of your engine and using the resulting space to hold
passengers.
For much of the same reasons a PSU (Passinger Space Unit) takes up two BVU.
It includes such things as steroes, head and leg room, stearing columns, doors,
etc.
CSU (Cargo Space Units) only cost one BVU because it just empty space with a
door so you can get to it.
Now does this make sense, or do you think it's still silly? Does anybody else
feel it's silly? Let's here form you people. I'm feeling lonely out here.
See Ya in Shadows,
