While the equations you gave make sense, did you take into account the
factor that a car ususally only gets about 25% of the actual chemical energy
present in the 'gasoline' out of it? I mean the figures that you took from RBB
seemed rather high to me, but I don't have a copy conveniently here to double
check those figures... So, if RBB vehicles actualy go that high, then I'll say
your equations seem fully accurate...

Amonchare,
Your equation is a work of genuis. Not only does it reduce fuel efficency to
one easy to use equation, but it's in line with FASA (assuming the weights are
correct). Once we figure out how much the average car will weigh we can mod
the equation to fit it and we're good to go. It's amazing what you can do with
a physics book.
