That equation I posted ( A=(max speed-current speed)/5 ) was based on the
assumption that, generally speaking, the faster a car can go, the faster it
can accelerate. Thus we have the fast sports cars with the sub-6 sec. 0-60
times and we have your average family truckster with like 9-11 sec. times.

So, using my equation, a car with a top speed of 210 (m/turn) starting from
rest, can accelerate to (210-0)/5 or 42 m/turn by the end of the turn. At the
end of the next turn, it can be going 42+(210-42)/5, or 76 m/turn. Which I
think is about 57 mph. So, we've got a 0-60 of a little over 6 sec. (2 turns).

On the other hand, a car with a top speed of 120 m/turn (90 mph), starting
from rest, after one turn (3 sec.) can have a speed of (120-0)/5 or 24. After
two turns 24+(120-24)/5 or 43. After 3 turns - 59. After 4 turns 71 (53 mph).
So after 12 sec., this dinky 90 mph car can work up to 53.

Like I said, I think these are a little low, dividing by 4 is better, but I
can usually do /5 in my head. What problem did you see, Hayden, that I'm
missing. (And I probably AM missing something)
