There are currently 54 people subscribed to NERPS. Only eight
people have author-id#'s, which says to me that only eight people have
any interest in submitting stuff for the book.
What are the rest of you here for?

Obviously we are waiting for true creativity to enter, so that we the
un-creative can pick it apart. How else will you get totally useless
commentary.

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm here to

A)See what new ideas are being worked on.
B)Perhaps be inspired by some of them
C)Submit something once I know
1)what I can come up with that's "on-topic" for the current project
2)Find out how much time I have to work on it.

Incidentally, is there a particular size limit for submissions for the
current project?

I would like to submit, but being a bit of a newbie to this
forum, I am awaiting other things, to avoid sounding "munchkinious"
I'm also curious - How much "fiction" can we have in our submit's?

They're just a bunch of freeloaders who want to know the details of new
books before everyone else does! :) :) *goes out and buys fire extinguisher

Though that is certainly a vocation steeped in tradition (and may
even be able to compete with prostitution for the title "the oldest
profession"), it makes for short books. *grin*

I'm not sure what the listserver's upper limit for messages is,
but if something's going to be more than, say, fifteen to twenty pages of
twelve-point Helvetica (or Arial, or whatever) then it might be better off
as a completely seperate book.
Of course, exceptions can easily be made. *grin*

This is a game, so everything is fiction. *grin* Of course, if
you can think up non-fiction, scientific reasons for whatever it is your
submission is about, that only adds to its usefulness to GM's later on.

Then let's make a flyer called NERPS: Paranormals :)

Well, we /are/ doing better than a flyer, but the best we could
put out right now would be an informational brochure (as opposed to a
sales brochure, which would be large but mainly devoid of content.) I'm
hoping to do something more like a sourcebook.... *grin*

fear that Doom might post one of his verbose messages just to this list and if I

I am waiting for the next projects to come up (if they do). I am not
interested in writing material for paranormal animals. I am more interested
in the matrix and city/state/orginization sourcebooks.

The next project will start in May at the earliest, and the list
will be reset again before that happens (in other words, everybody will
be kicked off so we can start from scratch.)

Wait... what about something on matrix-using critters ? Sure, we've already
seen dragons with datajacks, but we don't know how other sentient forms
could react to the "consensual allucination" of the Grid.
Besides, what about that free spirit riding the lines in Denver, and
supposedly lairing in the Nexus ?...

That free spirit on the Nexus? After reading the Denver books, I as a gm
didn't believe in a free spirit existing in the matrix, but hey, after all,
that decision is up to the gm. I guess the Sasquatch (sp?) could, if they
wanted to, deck... it would be some interesting personas. I haven't read
much on paranormal animals to see who is sentient and who isn't. I guess
vampires could...
