I will no longer be accepting submissions of any type for NERPS:
Shadowlore II (except for a few more Vehicles by E, but that's only
because he asked for an extension a week ago.)
NERPS: Shadows of the Mind will continue to be considered a
work-in-progress until such time as everybody's given up on it.
Now, does anybody have any suggestions for the /next/ NERPS
project? As far as I can remember (which ain't far, truth be told), the
only suggestion so far was mine, to create a Shadowrun game FAQ but treat
it like a NERPS book in terms of submission guidelines, editing, etc.

Forgot to mention in the last message that revokations will still
be accepted for the next few weeks, while we decide what the next book
will be. After that point, EMail me privately if you suddenly think of
something that needs to be changed.
Also forgot to mention that I'm planning to be finished with the
editing process on or around April 31, 1995.
The NERPS FAQ has been updated to reflect all this.

Hmm, I'd like to maybe create NERPS: DragonLore.

In it, we talk all about dragons. Physiology, Dragon Magic, Interviews
with Famous Dragons, History, etc.

ooo I like that idea. Dragons are discussed so little and even less is
known abbout them. Hell I would even write a piece for that.

hmmmm - not a bad Idea - I could do some stuff with Seraphy, Rob with Tirandor
some of the other guys could mention a few things.

Also - we could do some Magic Lore stuff besides the rules claricfication -
like lots of Magical discourses!!!!

If NERPS: topic is going to be DragonLore, I'll
be happy to In

(grrr, stupid terminal) include stuff
from Lazinthgul and his siblings (and to think it all
started with an adventure I called Triad). ^^ the three dragons
Other things to include, possibly in different Nerps: Projects,
is new weapons, programs (kinda like CP2020), maybe some rocker
equip, or a 'James Bond' esque equipment guide.

*groan* I do hope you mean in character discourses.

How about that Psionics sourcebook we kept flaming each other
about :) I left kinda early that semester so I dont have a clue as to the
final decision. Would someone care to give me a recap? If it was just
plain forgotten how about starting all over again ?

I'll second that, it sounds like a great idea and considerably less
flame atrracting material than the psi stuff.

While this would have worked quite well for Shadowlore II, I'd
rather not do another equipment-heavy book right away. Programs could
work if we wanted to do a book on the Matrix.

How about having a collection of runs that can be used either separatly or
as a campaign?

^^^^^^

I would love to do some stuff for the matrix (the most undeveloped part of SRII)
of course this is coming from a person who usually plays deckers.

We already did that, in NERPS Foundations.

Yes. This is a good thing (tm). NERPS: Matrix. Yes. It's cool.

New decks and additional rules to build them. New connection ways and
new devices.

Only drawback: Virtual Realities II from FASA.

Well, we can't have everything, I think :)

Bye, Paolo

The Matrix has been neglected long enough. Let's start juicing it with
the same effort we give to death and mayhem of the fire fight.

We tried that as part of NERPS: Power Players, but it just wasn't
happening, so when Hayden turned the reins over to me we switched it to
NERPS: Shadowlore II instead.

Yeah, well -- it'd still be nice, to go through and cull what we can from
all of the books and put them at A or AA levels, as well as the ones that
we have online. Maxim, Yoshida Tech, and Nemesis spring to mind....

How about either some sort of "campaign" (a collection of
adventures/missions/runs/modules/whatever-you-want-to-call-them) with a
common theme (All "Universal Brotherhood" modules, all <insert name of
terrorist or paramilitary organisation here>, all involving <insert
agreed-upon "incident" that the modules are involved with) etc., or a
sourcebook for some sort of new organisation or group of related
organisations?

Thanks...another one that several people had mentioned is "Dragons". How
about a collection of scenarios/runs(etc.) concerning either A dragon or
a group of dragons and their Nefarious Scheme to Take Over The World (or
something...) OR a series of runs SPONSORED by the dragon(s)? (Perhaps
some malicious biochem firm tailors an anti-dragon virus or something.
Part I - find a cure, Part II, find out who did it, Part III waste 'em...)

Or perhaps runs concerning a feud (or outright war) between two dragons
or groups of dragons...

Okay, I'll stop free associating now.
