And Gurth replied:

<snip some other info>

What I suggest you do is post your question to the NERPS list. Say you
want to write about Amazonia but don't have the sourcebooks; we're with
enough people to help you out with at least the basics onto which you can
build -- FASA hasn't really told us much aout Amazonia, so you have pretty
much a free hand.

As you see, Gurth encouraged me.

If there's anybody interested, pleeeeeeeeease contact me.

I do have some spare time and i really would like to publish something
concerning Amazonia.

Tks (a lot)

All I know about Amazonia is that it is so awakened that maps aren't
good for more than a week (if I remember well). I really don't remember
where I found this information though...

I would really like to help you with this Amazonia sourcebook proovided that
you would supply the local info (surprise!). The only rpoblem would be that our
university is on strike (hopefully for a long time) and I will spend some time
organizing protests, flyers and stuff. But I think that it will have settled
down in about a week so I could happily participate.

PS I didn't know that there was a project about different countries, but then
I'm on this list for only about a week.

Another problem solved, it looks like :)

The Neo-A Guide to the World (NAGTTW) is about countries and cities FASA
hasn't covered so far. Tomorrow I'll send out a list of who's volunteered
two write something, so you can see what is being written.

For those interested in writing about Amazonia:

I'm doing the Siberia article. As another Awakened state, it might be fun
to connect Amazonia and Siberia in some political way.

In the Siberia article, which should be posted in the next few days, I hint
in some decker comments that the army which took over the Amazon basin may
have been trained and/or supplied from Siberia.

As far as official FASA info, there isn't much. The most informative is the
Aztlan sourcebook, which mentions some Amazonian history (insofar as much
of that history has been in conflict with Aztlan). Also, the in
conversation of the Cabal, the "Jungle Cat" is pretty obviously a
shapeshifter of some influence in Amazonia, so whenever he refers to events
in his homeland, pay attention. He also makes some comments in the Treats
sourcebook which will be useful.
