Greetings one and all.

As a newbie NERPS member, here is a few ideas my group has come up =
with for NERPS to consider.

1. Islands in the Net...
all i spoke/emailed bout this loved it. I think we should =
get our selves into gear and divide this up. If each of the NERPS list =
members writes one section, it'll be a piece of piss

2. Free Spirits....
This is actually my girlfriend's idea. A book on more =
details of Free Spirits. Points to consider.
# A religious group/cult served by a bevy of Free Spirits. The =
Spirits get Karma and the cult gets "miracles"
# Possession. What would happen if a Free Spirit possessed a =
high-ranking Corp Official. Not necessarily a Mega-Corp, just a 2nd tier =
Corp that provides a vital service.

3. Places...
I'm currently writing an article about Portland for the TSS#9. =
In it, Portland secedes from the Tir when the 2052 law on trade is =
passed, and forms a (magical) new society. What about more details on =
some of the smaller cities in SR??

Well, shoot these ideas down in flames if you must. But at least think =
bout it..

This would be a good idea, if it weren't for the fact that the
NAGTTW is supposed to be about lots of places FASA hasn't
described in any detail :)

One thing I'd like you to think about is looking through your
mailer's options and setting the line width to 70 characters or
so... Your posts all end up on one long line, making them hard to
read for many people.

And here is my idea:

Trideo (Okay, there was Shadowbeat, but I never read it.)

So what about a Sourcebook about Trideo Stations. In the past I realized, when
my players ask me, what's on the trid, I always describe it the same way.
("Well, you see an ordinary soap opera/action movie/series/news show...") Maybe
it would be interesting, to create shows, which can be used for more athmosphere
or even adventures. (Including infos about actors, production, etc.)

Examples:

- Sacred Grounds
A "western" series in the Sioux nation. But here the native americans are the
heroes and the whites are the bad guys!

- Weird Wired
Comedy about a quirky decker.

What do you think?

Probably a good idea to read it if we do get around to doing this then :)
(Not being rude, but it will help..)

I was thinking that a media sourcebook in general would be cool. I picked
up a copy of Cyberpunk "Rockerboy" for 4 bucks last week, and while IMO the
production job was really shitty, it was a cool type of concept.

Creating a type of "News Magazine" that covers facets of the various
entertainment medias could be an interesting project -- then we could
create a seperate Underground magazine to cover the underground stuff :)

But, if anyone dares use the word 'zine, I'll freak out on you.. >:)
