About a year ago someone posted to this list I believe, some optional
rules for ShadowRun that was a merit and flaw system simular to the one
used by the White Wolf games. If you have a copy of these rules or have
a version of your own I would appreciate it if you would email or
post a copy.

Thanx,

I don't know if it was posted on NERPS, but I do know someone who's been
meaning to do a conversion like that for over a year (from Ars Magica to
SR). I don't think he's even realy started writing them down, though.

Or, you could just use White Wolf's merits and flaws (well, those that
apply to ShadowRunners) and keep the costs the same. If a flaw grants 2
character points in WW, it grants 2 character points in SR. Ditto for
merrits (taking character points from attributes, skills, or force
points).

Very good idea but creates problems with munchkins diving at using the
points for attribs and skills which would be best pay.

Thanx for the idea and too all who have posted helpful info

btw: I had to sell all my game books to pay for tuition so I will have
to reaquire Shadowrun books and do without other game books

But you as a GM can make a flaw as inconvenient as you want to. If a player
takes a lot of flaws for their character, make em pay for it.

Bummer.
