Perhaps. I personally like the aggravation factor... "Here you are, plenty
of APDS."
"But this is 5.56mm! How do I use this?"
"I dunno, buy an M-16 or something. It's APDS! You want it or not?"

But that's just me. The whole set of rules were intended a la carte:
pick and choose what you want, I won't be offended :) Once you're out of
pistols, there are only three or four calibres to worry about anyway, so
either assumption could be considered valid.

It's your article, I'm not going to cut things out or put others in
(except correct spelling errors, punctuation, etc.) so if you say "keep
the calibers in," I'll keep the calibers in.
