Perhaps. I personally like the aggravation factor... "Here you are, plenty
of APDS."

But that's just me. The whole set of rules were intended a la carte:
pick and choose what you want, I won't be offended :) Once you're out of
pistols, there are only three or four calibres to worry about anyway, so
either assumption could be considered valid.
