Subject: possible problem

This morning when I booted up my workstation, it refused to boot,
spitting out some kind of error that I don't know the meaning of.

Unfortunately, this is also the machine that has the archives of all the
NERPS stuff on them. No, I didn't lose the ID#s again, but until I can
get access back to that drive, I can't get the stuff that has been
submitted and sorted.

Assuming that this is a parmanent situation (which would REALLY suck), I
can reassemble everything from the logs, but I wanted to inform all of you.

Actually, what I think I need is a new workstation because this one
really sucks! Unfortunately, I don't have $1500 just lying around.

Gee, if all of you donated $20 to me, I'd have enough :-) *ducks behind
an asbestos shield*
