If your players break rule #1 (Don't piss off the GM) make them do this
with my blessings.
Whoever broke rule #1 or if there are multiple "buttmonkeys" that
piss you off have it start out as:
TELL IT TO THEM STRAIGHT
You're walkin' along doin' your own thing, whatever it may be,
and a somewhat tall dwarf an ork secretary and two troll bodyguards come
up to you to say hello. " Hi, I'm R.J. Stone, from The Markie Jones
Show." says the dwarf. " We're doing a show on remodeling the youth of
today. And we would like you to be on our show."
BEHIND THE SCENES
Hopefully your players are a little stereotypical and look like
freaks. If not have Stone tell the runners that it's all a big show and
they need someone to play a freak. If the prospect of changing their look
does not appeal to the runners have Stone flash some cash and haul the
runners into the back of the van (which is not all that comfortable).
Don't worry about specs.
TELL IT TO THEM STRAIGHT
Ahhh showbiz, bright lights, beautiful people, big egos, and
annoying little wormy guys trying to make a buck (if the runners bring up
that nuyen is the currency throw something at them).
Another guy comes up to you to prepare you for the show. This guy
looks like Urkel turned troll. He gives you some make up, adds some fake
tatoos, puts on clip-on earings, and adds color to your hair. It's
showtime!
BEHIND THE SCENES
You can take it from here now. Just watch some talk shows and
learn from those. If it gets boring have some nut in the crowd pull out a
gun. It's your show.
CAST OF SHADOWS
R.J. Stone: Use Mr. Johnson (With dwarf mods. and a Walther Palm Pistol)

Stone was born and raised in a largely dwarven community along
the UCAS/CAS border. After he graduated from college (in whatever city
you run in)
Markie Jones hired him as her personal assistant. Stone is calm and
usually gets what he wants with money.
Secretary: Use Corporate Secretary (With ork mods.) p 205 SRII
Bodyguards: Use Bodyguard (With troll mods. and Uzi III's with explosive
ammo) p 49 SRII
Frankie: Use Troll Pedestrian (With a Makeup skill of 7)
Markie Jones: Use Human Pedestrian (With Charisma 6 and Intelligence 4)
She comes out wearing a dress suit in jungle camo colors. Model her
personality after your favorite talk show host.
It's your show, change what you need. I've got two players who
consistantly piss me off. They've gone from punk elves to gun toting
preps.
