Under the Australian bit, the rest of the guys are going to contribute up
here with Elle as well, but she can handle the submissions for us.... I'm
warning you though; The article isn't going to stick to the 15 pages you
mentioned... It'll probably reach sourcebook size.

Hmm... What do you think about a little story about Munich
Octoberfest? Although declining tourism (and various simsense
recordings of it) has had its impact on this event, it still is very famous
all over the world. So still a huge bunch of people travel there
every year for amusement and business. Yes, business! Because the
place is so crowded and loud (especially in the beertents), it is a good
place to talk about business, because it is hard to listen to any
talks. Another point is that after a bomb exploded a few years ago,
this place can be considered safe, because access security is very
strict.
And the best of all: It is the only time in year, where you can enter
Munich without getting too much trouble (just in case you have to
conduct some other business in town :-)

Up until now, we have the following people who've volunteered to write
about:

Australia: Calvin Hsieh <u2172778@*******.acsu.unsw.edu.au>
The Jestyr <s421539@*******.gu.edu.au>
Baltimore City (CAS or UCAS?): Rob Pool <rpool@********.net>
CAS: Thomas Deeny <fauxpas@******.net>
Erik Johansen <dweaver@*******.net>
Cleveland: Steven Ratkovich <chaos@*****.com>
Iceland: Olafur Gunnarsson <olafurg@******.is>
Minneapolis/St. Paul: Jens Hage <jhage@**.com>
Netherlands, possibly a part of Belgium as well: me <gurth@******.nl>
New Zealand: Andrew Norman <A.J.Norman@******.ac.nz>
Oklahoma: Christopher Casey <mirage5@**.netcom.com>

And related to the above:

Ocean-going vessels: Lynn Twiss <ltwiss@********.com>
Underwater stuff: Hairy Smurf <ab130f92@*******.adelphi.edu> (needs
someone else to work with)
Assorted other stuff: Erik jameson <Erik_Jameson@*****.com>

I might have missed someone or something, and/or made mistakes, so if I
have don't hesitate to correct me.

As for the length of the submissions, about 5 to 15 pages per article is
what I have in mind.

Baltimore is in the UCAS (maryland, geographically, is just north of FDC and
Virginia). I'll probably wind up portraying it like the seattle of the west,
since you can get to just about any major UCAS\CAS city within a day's
drive- traffic pending.
