As a newbie to this list (I signed up earlier this week), I was
wondering what the current state of play is and how to get involved.
I read on one of the websites (probably Gurth's) that the
current project is the Neo-Anarchists Guide to the Rest Of the World.
What is the current state of the work, and is there anything I can do?

cheers
Geoff

We've been working (on and off) on the NAGTTW for about 2 years now, and
it's looking nowhere near finished -- mainly because only three or four of
the promised articles have shown up so far (I'm guilty of this too, BTW).

If you want to get involved, you're welcome to. The NAGTTW is an attempt
to give a little background for those parts of the world that FASA didn't
cover, so if you have a country or other place you want to write about, be
our guest. There are a few things to keep in mind, though: most
importantly it has to fit in with the rest of the SR world, so that means
you can't decide to (for instance) nuke a major city because that would
most likely have been mentioned in How It Came To Pass. Also, descriptions
of small places (like individual cities) aren't really what we're after,
especially not if there is already a sourcebook for the country that city
is in.

I'm interested, especially about working on the Australia side of things
(seeings that is where I live). I noticed that there are already a few
people working on it, but I am sure I could come up with a few things to
add.

cheers

In that case I suggest contacting them directly (although Lady Jestyr's a
bit beyond reach ATM) and talking to them about what they have so far, and
how your ideas can be fitted into it.
