ANSWER #2:
Where we at...that is one _seriously_ mind-fraggingly complicated
question, chummer.

ANSWER #3:
We need people to either (a) write stuff or (b) vote to disband
the project. I can't write it all myself, and even if I could I don't
have time. Sure, I can make time for editing, but that's something I can
do in my sleep (version 0.04 was mostly edited after midnight during a
late shift at work), but writing is much less of a no-brainer.
I'd like to see some ideas on history -- I'll happily write that
up (I've got s'more stuff myself, and will post it later.) Also be nice
if somebody could finish Kyle's stories, since he seems to be offline at
present and they really _do_ need s'more work.
Any new ficiton would be nice, too. I've started working on the
"autobiography" of Edvard "Rat-Breath" Korianoff, a Combat Biker who
announced himself to be a TK adept and probably wasn't.
Also, we need specifics on some of the powers, especially adepts,
initiation, metapowers, and psi vs. psi mental combat. PsiNET could use
some polishing, too.
And then, last and absolutely, totally fraggin' NOT least, we
need specific powers written up. If you, oh Fearless Leader, or one of
the others who made it through from the original discussions, could post
a few as a reference point, then everybody can get started and just
follow the same format.

Just about everyone agrees with putting CyberPsionics into the project.
The thrust so far is that he can affect the mind and memory of deckers,
but not the Matrix itself. If you stay with that, it seems to limit
severly any adepts, or full Psis, that take that Discipline. If you want
to make things interesting, really make them CYBER-Psis. Give them
control over all sorts of tech devices. I've come up with some
interesting powers that work with my own version of Cyber Psis. For
example, they can control simple electronic devices with a touch. Built
in maglock pass key. Or my favorite, Cyber control. Lets the Psi
temporarily boost the effectiveness of his cyberware one level. An extra
level of strength, or extra long hand razors [(Str)M damage]. If it
sounds good to people, I have a half-dozen or so powers that I can post.

I dislike the idea of cyber control - it is like controlling the persons body
and should be extremely expensive.

An idea is to "liberate" some Psi ideas from Rifts like super-psi powers
- our meta-powers basically.

Telemechanics - you KNOW machines. touch it and you know how it works. Touch a
computer and you can access ANY data from - no protection

Electropsionics - cause electric sparks to hurt people, control simple
electronics ie - turn things on and off - it wouldn't let you run and deck, by
if would probably get you past a maglock.

Nightfox

I play a hatchling dragon in RIFTS named

Seraphylanjaligigusnort Seraphy for short :)
(yes it is also my dragon on Talk)

Yes. CyberPsionic Adepts really aren't going to be that powerful in
terms of gameplay, especially of you don't do a lot of running. They are
more presented as NPCs and as a balance type thing.

GUPS Psionics has a diciplien called "Electrokinesis" which is the
ability to manipulate electronic instruments directly. CyberPsi is an
ability to connect (jack in) via telepathy, which is something we
reserved as an ability.
