to call people, let's bring back nigger, kike, spic, wop, Christ-killer,
and a few other choice ones, shall we? They're every bit as offensive to
the people they refer to as "warlock" is to a witch/NeoPagan. Oh, but I
don't want to be accused of "political correctness", do I? So, Jason, what
ethnic/religious group do you belong to, so I know the proper slur to
address you by?
Sorry, Robert, for the flamage on-list, but Carter just doesn't seem to
understand how =seriously offensive= the word is. At this point, I think
I've made it very clear that yes, I understand that this is a game world,
and that it's different from ours, but people would not tolerate the
language I cited above in a game and I flatly will not tolerate the language
that Carter is advocating.
There are limits to what you can get away with in fiction.
