CHARACTER
The Artificial Kid
M-03
--------
Archetype: Human Physical Adept

His real name is Rominuald Tanglin (R.T. -> RT -> ArTi -> Artificial Kid).
He lives in the Black Junkyards, where his father, a skillful surgeon,
retired after a life spent in a shadow clinic.
He's 18 years old, well built and fast, and become a physical adept learning
from and old squatter that was a master of martial arts (not officially
recognized, but with terrific efficiency...).
Arti lived in the Junkyards for 18 years. He never known about the outside
world except for trideo connections. But he thinks that those things he see
are not *really* real.
Anyway, his father managed to give him a contract with the Battle Channel
where Arti sends trideos of his ritual fightings. He's quite successful in
that, and the channel's agent he talks with is the only person he knows
outside the Junkyards.

His life was happy, beating people and editing trideos, until a Lone Star
team, on the trail of a shadowrunners' team, killed his father.
He joined the runners' team and finally exited the Junkyards.

What a strange world... he bougth an SMG and a monofilament whip (thanks
to the team's contacts) and now he a stable member of the Butchers (that
is the name of the team).

Anyway, try not to cross his way: his perception of the world and society
is not exactly the same as everyone, and even a weird move or a strange
nod can be interpreted as a ritual agreement to combat. Then, switch on
the cameras and be ready to fight.

Note:
This is a Shadowrun conversion of the main character of the Bruce Sterling's
book. Thanks to Bruce.
