I for one would love to contribute to Dragonlore, JD. It might be a good
idea to have multiple authors construct short stories surrounding a specific
dragon or dragons. Cool idea. I want in!

I would be interested in contributing also, I have a lot of time but I am
still a newbie as far as what is expected, etc. We have played since the
first year SR came out and have added several dragon 'personalities' and new
species to our campaigns.
I would enjoy the chance to contribute short stories, new dragon
varieties, etc. Perhaps a rival report to Pederson's on dragon psychology?
An International Dragon Watch Society (for dragon sitings, etc.) (Hey they'd
have to have fans !!!)
i like the idea of leaving things vague. This gives others the choice of
what to use and still preserves the mystery of the large Ones.
Count me in to help out :)

I agree with kidchaos' approach, including the competition to Peterson's
Report (what academic interest doesn't get shot at?) Also, the Dark Lord
and Co. seem to want things vague, perhaps to an extreme at times.
There is one problem to a report on dragons, a dragons fan club, tee
shirts, lunchboxes, etc. Some of them will, not may, but will take
exception to being watched. The printing house or policlub location
better be heavily fortified, because once word gets out, expect a strike,
either from purchased muscle or dragon itself. Not all of them are as
photogenically oriented as Dunkelzahn, and even he has his limit for
"feeding" off the media.

Perhaps it's an "underground" society (the "dragon watcher's club"
that
is) that is studying dragons secretly. Not having any centralized
headquarters, the dragons can only get a few of them at a time... :)
(Y'know...I've got a character that would be perfect for that.)

I'll bet Dunkelzahn would have no problem with getting royalties off of
Dunkelzahn Action Figures (lunchboxes, t-shirts...perhaps even a cartoon
series...). Money is money, as Confucious said...

Haas anyone checked out the NAGEE shadow runners guide to Colombia? In it
is has a brief statement regarding a dragon called Chicanabee (Summat loik
thaat, oi don't 'ave ve list wiv me, sorry, my bumpkin accent slipped out
then.) But it is a very good article and makes interesting reading even if the
second part is missing.
