always give you the chance. I was once out in the NAN, doesn't matter
where, we were minding our own business when out of the blue this
shadow swoops right overhead blasting a jet of poison gas in all
directions, thought they all breath fire eh, bad luck. Fortunately
our rigger had had the foresight to install gas seals, not intended
for this occurance but very handy. By the time we had realised what
was going on looked up and seen the beast, very pretty looking
feathered serpent it was comming round for go number two only this
time i think it tried to take the car off the road, again am i glad
we have a good driver. Anyway the roof mounted turrets on both our
vehicles were functioning by this time and let the fragging thing
have in, try a Valient up your scales, bounce bounce bounce, oops!
and that was the one that hit! Foutunately it was not so lucky once i
got a chabce to put a spell in the thing, wham, real so and so of a
target but i don't think it can have had any defences as it just
folded its wings right up and dropped, now stun spells don't kill
dragons but fortunately the Earth's rather hard. Needless to say we
didn't hang about to see if the thing could recover from a broken
neck, i hope not.>>>>>

game notes
that is based on an experience a PC had, at the time we had no
idea how hard dragons really were, the thing in question was the
basic lesser feathered serpent (see main book) as far as i know with
no magic, it certainly didn't have shielding. The LMG was loaded with
standard ammo and the spell used was research stuff though quite
reasonable (stats available but effectively just an uprated stun bolt
(see GR2))
the name deletion would i'm affraid be very much in order, the
character in question had enough people after him, 1 corp + UB,
without Gewald Corp offering a bounty for dragon slaying as well!
