I know this is off the topic slightly but does anyone know of anywhere
where I can find info for an Earthdawn/Shadowrun crossover campaign. I
am feeling sadistic.

Cheers.

I will provide some brief notes here, can discuss in detail but not
on NERPS! i suggest you mail me privately if desired as i don't keep
up with Shadowrn and some data may bne a bit sensitive for there
without spoiler warnings as some GM's have far too many players on
that list :)

There is some stuff on 'crossovers' on the web and someone once
maintained an FAQ on correlations, however opinions on it's accuracy
varied.

A serious search of the Shadowrn archieves will probably turn up a
lot of stuff if you can only identify it/find it in there!

As for game statistics you have to fudge things as the 'power curves'
between 'joe bloggs' and 'great dragon' between the two are VERY
different, SR attribute+2 = ED attribute step and SR skill + linked
attibute(in 3rd ed or work from ED correlations for older SR
editions) í talent/skill step isn't too bad a start. Durability and
the large numbers of hits some horrors have to compensate to not
translate well to SR soak + fixed damage boxes, pick a SR illegal
fudge that suits the result desired. Finally note that even very
'tame' horrors are obscenely powerful things but a minigun (and
larger weapons) do damage on a scale ED critters just cannot handle.
Vergigorm vs UCAS army equals a clever horror (which is how they
operate) in which case the planet stands no chance or a smoking
crater and remains DNA fingerprinting won't identify. 40pts of armour
is indestructable until you talk antitank guns, then its paper.
