I just spent some time doing a kindof rewrite of my Psi chart stuff,
and here's what I've got.

Priority Race Magic Psi Attrib Skills Resources
A Meta Full Full 30 pts 40 pts 1M/50
B *Meta Adept Adept 24 pts 30 pts .4M/35
C *Meta None Wild 20 pts 24 pts 90K/25
D Human None None 17 pts 20 pts 5K/15
E Human None None 15 pts 17 pts 500/ 5
F Human None None 14 pts 15 pts 200/ 0

This is a chart that would allow old characters to be introduced
to the system with no change. At all. 'F' rating is supposed from what
was already there in the system.

A Meta Full Full 30 pts 40 pts 1M/50
B *Meta Adept Adept 26 pts 34 pts .6M/40
C *Meta Adept Wild 24 pts 30 pts .4M/35
D *Meta None None 20 pts 24 pts 90K/25
E Human None None 17 pts 20 pts 5K/15
F Human None None 15 pts 17 pts 500/ 5

This chart adds another letter in between the old A and B,
essentially. The main problem with it is that old characters are not
compatible with this chart, unless you make them all Psi adepts...not
likely.

D Human None None 17 pts 20 pts 5K/15
E Human None None 16 pts 18 pts 2K/10
F Human None None 15 pts 17 pts 500/ 5

This chart adds a letter between teh old D and E. It doesn't
work perfectly, but it does allow old characters to be added without
trouble...their Psi priority was D.

This one is slightly more interesting for converted characters.
It makes them all Wild Psis. Yes, this can be quite strange...but it
can be explained. Wild Psis are (if this is used) people that have the
potential to be Psis. Nothing more. They start out with no powers
whatsoever, and do not even know (beyond the player, who could probably
figure it out) that they have the ability. For some reason, this is a
lot of the population of the world (it's only slightly above average to
take it...), but Psis are virtually unknown, and certainly feared.
Beyond this, they also can never have full power...they only have the
potential to be adept Psis.

Why are all shadowrunners Wild Psis? Well, they're above
average... <grin> Maybe part of being a Wild Psi is some uncontrollable
urge to go break into corporate stations and such...or maybe not.

If roleplayed correctly, this wouldn't be a problem at all. It
may open the way for munchkins to be nasty, but that's always going to
be a problem.

(As another note, why not have the 'B' priority be either an
adept or a Wild FULL Psi, having the potential to use all Psi powers but
they don't know any right then...)

(As another note, it would also be another interesting
thing...it would make humans slightly more Psi-capable. Not by much,
but a little. It would definitely make it QUITE interesting...)

There are some charts. It's by no means complete, but we're
going to need something...comments are of course appreciated, and new
ideas are of course appreciated.

Use chart 1, add an 'F' category. That way you have something compatible
with FASA's charts.

Most of 'em were compatible with FASA stuff. It just matters HOW
compatible...
