LADIES AND GENTLEMEN: INTRODUCING THE NEW SHADOWRUN RACE THAT ALMOST NOBODY
WAS LOOKING FOR....THE MINOTAUR! I spent the past few days cooking this up
for 'yall so enjoy! and let me know what you think and if any changes
should be made. This thing isn't written in stone.

Minotaur

Homo sapiens bovidae

Identification: Minotaurs measure approximately 2.4 meters and weigh 225
kilograms. They have short fur covering their massive muscles. Fur color
ranges from red-brown to almost black and remains unchanged after
ingentisization. Minotaurs have faces reminiscent of bulls. They have
short horns growing from the edges of their foreheads to a length of 15 to
30 cm for females and 30 to 60 for the males. Minotaur females have two
mammae and all minotaurs have 34 teeth, including four enlarged canines.
Minotaurs are very heavily built. They have long legs, making them good
runners, but their massive size slows them down.

Habitat: In urban areas, minotaurs tend to live in standard human houses.

Habits: Minotaurs can be active day or night. Their diet is omnivorous.
Since they have just recently awakened, there tends to be very few minotaur,
so they live relatively isolated. (which may very well be due to the fact
that they aren't yet accepted yet by more than 90% of the population.)
Metabolic studies show that the minotaur tends to live approximately 60
years. Their breeding season is unrestricted. Gestation is 250 days.

Young: Usually one. Birth weight is 2.5% of the mother's weight. Suckling
time is about 10 months.

Commentary: Since the minotaur has just recently awakened, there are very
few of them, leading to various rumors about their existence, most of them
very uncompromising, leading the public to assume that they are a detriment
to society (which is odd, because trolls and orcs, which are more accepted,
seem to be worse than any minotaur to date.)
The minotaur are very confident in their abilities, to the extreme of being
very conceited. They believe that they are the superior race and that they
were put here to save the previous existing races from certain doom. This
may be the reason that these rumors were started in the first place.
Minotaurs are instinctually led to believe that might makes right and develop
early on superior strength, cunning, and intelligence.
The minotaur is a very noble race. Secure in the knowledge that they are
superior, minotaurs have developed a high sense of correct (not right or
wrong) behavior that only the superior can afford.
Although conceited and cunning, they are, however, trustworthy to those who
have earned their respect (for example, other shadowrunners in his group or
contacts.)

Racial Maximum Table (Minotaur) Racial Modifiers
