Subject:	Geopolitical quandries

Two things are sort of bothering me about world politics in SR.

First, if I remember correctly (and I may not), Aztlan controls the
Panama Canal. It seems to me that this could have some far-reaching
political/corporate implications, but I don't remember FASA ever
mentioning any.

Secondly, according to FASA, Japan is an Imperial power, and China is
fragmented into a bunch of small kingdoms, each vying for control of
China. With China so disorganized, it seems to me that Japan, who has
invaded China on numerous occasions, would be total idiots if they did
not try to carve out a huge chunk of it.
