This isn't 100% relevant here, but what I'm wondering about is whether
people are really trying to rip you (that is, everybody, not you
specifically) off, or are we all just imagening it all? My own prime
concern is that my material doesn't get altered -- beyond that, people can
distribute it at will as much as they like. If they make money off of it,
I doubt I'll ever find out let alone take legal action against someone in,
say, Thailand who's selling my texts for money.

I'll put a section about this into the FAQ, so there's some kind of
official base for all this nonsense (because that's my view on this
matter). I don't see the point in hooking a copyright notice to
everything you post here, but if you feel you must then go ahead...
In the final book, each article will have its author's name right at the
top, under the article's name, and at the beginning of the book will be a
notice that reads something like this:

"The copyrights to each article in this book [file?] are held by their
respective authors, (c) 1996."

And as you probably have guessed, I also don't really see why a list of
all the articles, authors, and (c) dates must be included in the final
document...

I haven't really read through the file yet, this was only the first thing I
noticed... I'll go read it right now and make any other comments I feel
need making :)

You've got me wondering which articles you mean here... Anyway, anything
is open for comment as far as I'm concerned.
