As to the Matrix Rewrite -- I'm trying to do a project, mostly
ignored on the Shadowrun list so far for some reason (my mail _did_ go
through, right?) which would not be a rewrite, but a collection of
clarifiactions and something much like the current NERPS, only all
in the Matrix. I would also want to cover history, meaning, how we got
there from here (here being the Internet and modern telephone and cable TV
companies.)
Actually, Robert -- would virtual sprawls be okay for the current
list as well? If so, I may have some more to contribute before the
deadline marches in (pun intended).

Yes, but even everyones idea of history will mismatch, making things
difficult for a large committee.

Yes, very much so. As are non-(meta)human charaters, such as dragons,
vampires, sasquach, and others (just no AI, keep it legitimate SR).
