*whew*
I'm about 20% through the back digests of SHADOWRN, and maybe 40%
through the back digests of NERPS (got the NERPS first, then realized
that a lot of important stuff had been said previously on SHADOWRN.) I'm
talking, of course, about all the digests in which we're discussing
Psionics, from Mercenary X's first "Have you thought about..." message on
July 9th, through the amazing first three days, past the night where kyle
kohler and Darth Vader filled NERPS to the limit with their discussion,
all the way to kyle's purposefully empty PSI Recap 3.0....
And why am I doing this? The reason is simple, really. We put
so much work into Psionics in July and early August that I'm too stupid
to just let it die. So, as NERPS Editor & General Motivator, it falls to
me to figure out what needs to be done next.
We should know by Wednesday, 'cause my weekend is Monday and
Tuesday this week.
I'm gonna make the whole archive avaliable for FTP here at CAIS
(details later), and possibly reproduce some of the most important stuff
here.
But don't let this stop you from discussing Psionics now!

Well, I had the raw product finished...two files, one of all the
PSI threads from SHADOWRN, one of all of 'em from NERPS.
And then, somehow, I must've made a typo and copied the NERPS
file on top of the SHADOWRN file. As you probably know, with the
standard implementation of BSD UNIX there's no way to retreive a deleted
file; therefore, I'm fragged.
The NERPS file is avaliable via FTP from this site (cais.com) in
the directory '/usr/jdfalk/nerps-proj' -- the filename is
'psi-nerps.txt'. As for the SHADOWRN file, that'll be another day or two
until I finish with it again, damnit.
I think what I may well do with these two files is DL 'em to my
home system, and edit 'em so that they follow the order of our Fearless
Leader's suggested outline. That way, it'll be even clearer what we need
to work on.
But still, post any ideas you have. I'll get those included in
the book as well, y'know.

The SHADOWRN file is now avaliable as well; filename 'psi-sr.txt'
in the same directory at the same site as listed above.
I don't remember who it was who posted some good questions
yesterday, but the main reason none of 'em were answered is that all the
answers lie in those archives....
