Damage to a single location
====================
Take a look at the monitor. You'll see several columns on it. There are
seven columns in a vertical arrangement and one lying horizontal. The
system works bottom to top. The last one is the original stun damage
monitor. Stun damage is applied as before, therefore there's no
location. Overflow stun damage is applied to the column "G".
From the left to the right there is:
LB = left leg (linkes Bein)
LA = left arm (linker Arm)
R= torso (Rumpf)
G = the original damage monitor (Gesamtschaden)
K= head (Kopf)
RA = right arm (rechter Arm)
RB = right leg (rechtes Bein)

You'll also se a row of six boxes with skulls in them, this is the
overflow damage. Overflow works as mentioned in the SR core rule book or
in Fields of Fire, standard SR rules.
Single location hit
=============
Hits to a single location damage only this location. The damage is
applied to this location and the damage level in monitor "G" rises to
the same height as the damage of the single location. This means that
the injured person can't die of a Deadly wounded arm. If a limb suffers
a Deadly wound the limb cannot be used until healed. If any injured limb
is used the modifier for the limb is applied, not the modifier for the
general damage. The general damage modifier is used to increase all
other TN. If the left arm is broken, the pain will confuse the character
even if he's not using it.
Armour is only applied to hit on locations that have in fact armour,
e.g. an armoured vest does not protect your head.
Pain editor and damage compensator bioware or magical pain-blockers are
applied accordingly to the general damage monitor. E.g. a level 3 damage
compensator lets the user ignore a Severe leg wound.
Healing, magical or normal, is applied to the general damage monitor. If
this monitor is lowered to zero damage, all other damage is healed too.

Area Damage
==========
Area damage, grenades and so on is applied to all locations the blast or
whatever can reach. E.g. the character stands behind a wall that covers
his legs, the damage of the grenade explosion is only applied to torso,
head and both arms. It is also possible to attack several locations
using full-auto fire (not bursts). In this case the attacker must role
for each location.

Magic
=====
Magical attacks hit always the general monitor. The damage to each
single location rises accordingly to the general damage monitor. E.g. a
Moderate wound would result in a S6 to both legs, M4 to both arms and M3
to the torso. Exceptions are manipulation spells that works like regular
attacks and must be aimed to a single location or hit the whole body (GM
decision).

Check the following chart for TNs and so on.
If a characters is not aiming at a single location check the not aiming
section. The location is determined by rolling 3 D6 and adding all
results. The rule of the six and the one does NOT apply.

Not aiming location aimed shot

3 / 18 head +6
4-5 left leg +3
6-7 left arm +4
8-13 torso +2
14-15 right arm +4
16-17 right leg +3
