Right. I've had enough of it.

My last post to the NERPS list on this subject ("[Nerps] No vestige of a
beginning, no prospect of an end..."; Sat, 3 Apr 1999 19:47:10 +0200) was
aparently misunderstood, and for a time it seemed as if the list would
actually get off its ass and do something, but no, once again nothing
happened after the initial bunch of posts.

So here's what I want to do: kill NERPS.

To make sure I won't be misunderstood again, I'll spell it out: this
message is NOT a plea for you lot to get posting again; I've done too many
of those over the years, and the time for threats is over. Rather, this
message is a statement of what I am planning to do, and what I will do
unless someone can give me a pretty _damn_ good reason for keeping the
list alive.

I'll be sorry to see the list go, but the way it's been running the last
couple of years, I frankly don't see the point of keeping it going. To
repeat a comment I made on the GCPlan list earlier today, I am getting
_so_ fucking sick of everybody on the ShadowRN-related lists always
talking but never doing anything. Perhaps Tim Kerby had the right idea
after all...

Right. I've had enough of it.

There are no reasons other than those the list was originally formed
for.
We are here to produce non-official game material for SR.
If we cant / wont do it , so be it.

We are all equally guilty if we let this thing die. I'm not sure what
Tim Kerby's idea was
but I assume it had somethng to do with not being a part of the online
SR community.
If anyone is interested in taking over the Project Leaders
responsibilities, please
step forward. I for one am interested in reading and commenting on
posts made,
as well as the occasional post of my own. This is a good resource and
we should make the best
of it.

just two cents

I'd like to take this moment, before the list bites it, to say goodbye.
It's been fun. Anyone from this list is free to e-mail me at
brother_1@*******.com, until I find something better than an MS service.
I'm working on that.

According to Bruce, at 10:26 on 28 May 99, the word on
the street was...

That's more or less what prompted me to write that message, precisely.

Got it in one...

The only thing is that a good resource needs support, and that is what
it's obviously not getting.
