That does not seem to stop GM's banning things. Mostly so we have to
find things out the hard way i think. Problem is that research in ED
is a real pain, with medieval level technology and large sections of
the party that never want to be over 2 weeks in a town it can be a
real pain. Might improve now as 5 of the high circle characters have
collected for another game and we now have 3 spellcasters and a
second character just made 9th circle.

no. Easy tendency for magicians to become far too common. One of the
principal reasons i have pretty much ditched all the magical
consipracies in threats i have enough of my own. How the humanis
policlub stuff on the other hand... :)
