Subject: On allocating dice for sustaining powers

During lunch today, I while taking a break from beating on the city's
computer, I did some thinking with regards to the concept of allocating
pool dice to negate penalties for sustaining powers.

From a mechanics standpoint, what it represents is a PSI that has the
ability to, essentially, multitask (similiar, I suppose to an
encephalon). In addition, it represents a skill, essentially, at
concentrating and organizing many different powers.

This is NOT good for a beginning psi to have.

Instead I propose that the ability to use pool dice to negate penalties
becomes a meta-ability (watch for another post in a bit with ragards to
meta-abilities). This limits it to people that have actually invested
the karma in some organized training in this skill, and keeps the munchie
from sustaining six force-one Psychic Itch powers on that cranky dragon.
(you will note that training doesn't negate stupidity :-)

Sounds fair.

(Oops. Too short. I'll have to fill this post out with mindless
drivel in parentheses).
