I took a look at the logo, and although I like it, I think it needs some
modifications:

* the "NERPS" text should be on one line, not "NE" on the first and
"RPS"
on the second.
* the background would look better if it was just plain white or
something. Maybe we can combine it with an idea I had i nmind but couldn't
work out because of my HD crash: tiles fading away into the background
(a bit like the left side of the Windows logo, I noticed after I thought it up).

That's fair enough. When I proposed it, tho', nobody said it
had to be done thataway... Pity, I could have saved some work.
And, of course, it won't be square anymore, and the Shadowrun S
will be too "heavy" in the background, but then again...

Now, this is discomforting... I had recieved no instructions
about any restrictions on the background! And, as you might have
noticed, the big "Shadowrun S" does not show up so well if I do it
all white.

Won't this be (gasp!) infringement of copyright? :)

Seriously: I can't see how it can be "combined"... Maybe if you
can send me an example (feel free to mail binary, any
format...). However, I should change the background, the
setup, the colors... Mmmhhh... I could start it anew! :)

However, before I do, could I just have a list of restrictions?
The ones I had got were:
- There had to be written NERPS (and as Paolo (1) suggested, the
S had to be actually part of the text, since it was not clear
that it was the big Shadowrun one behind)
- There had to be written "Net Enhancements etc etc..."
- It had to be readable in greyscale (sensible)
Can I have an update? Size? Format? Shapes? Colors? Square or
rectangular? :)

You could place the SR-S in the middle -- keep it at the height and width
it is now, but add a bit of normal background to either side of it.

I didn't give *any* instructions, as I recall :) The reason I think white
would work better is because then it will more or less fade into the
background of the (white) page, instead of having a yellow (or gray on a
b/w printer) rectangle with the logo in it.

I've tried something like this and put it on my page:
http://www.xs4all.nl/~gurth/nerpslogo.gif Take a look and let me know your
thoughts about it :)

Rectangular, because the "NERPS" has to be on one line. Apart from that,
make something up -- although a fancy effect with the actual text wouldn't
go amiss either. Something like a shadow underneath, or light gleaming off
them, or something anyway.
