Has anybody written any rules for Urban Brawl/Combat Biking yet,
or are they/ will they be available in a future FASA sourcebook ?

I really liked the sections about combat biking in Dead Air, and would
like to involve my players in it - if I ever get a group together :(

I know this cannot be used in the current projects, but maybe it
could be included in a future project

The rules for Urban Brawl and Combat Biking are quite nicely laid out in
ShadowBeat, which has been out for quite some time. (Is it still in
print?)

I seem to recall something about urbanbrawl. I had written some
rules for a run, where my players posed as urban brawlers to recover
data or stuff like that, but they wwere unbalanced since they won by
wipeout while still facing some of the worst killers on earth
(something like firearms - 9, stealth - 7 etc.) Problem is that they
were dumb players. It was played on a Car Wars urban map if anyone's
interested. Don't recall much, anyway.

There are some Urban Brawl rules on the Big Knobi Klub at
http://www.intercom.net/user/logan1/ubl.htm (by Logan Graves)
I haven't seen any combat biking rules anywhere else, though.
Hope this helps.

Shadowbeat, and the Killing Glare adventure.
Both out of print IIRC.

ShadowBeat was the slowest-moving sourcebook of all time; You could still
get copies in my local RPG store until about six months ago.

If you're after the book, it may be worth checking the local stores, or
harrassing the wholesale distributor; they may still have a few copies
mouldering on the shelves.

Which is sort of a pity, because it had some stuff that could be useful if
your campaign went in that direction. You could also concoct a system for
"shadowrunner reputation" pretty easily based on the rocker rules.

I think the reason it did so poorly was largely due to its horrible cover.
And maybe the fact that it was about culture, not toys.

Agreed... I personally LOVE SB, and think it's one of the best books I
ever managed to get, but that's because I love the concept of playing a
ROcker or an Urban B4rawler... Plus, since I've been working on Cleveland
circa 2057, it's been very helpful in letting me figure out Sports, since
Clevelands Sports Teams have always been a BIG part of the cities culture...

I would LOVE to play in a group that was all rockers... Sort of a Buckeroo
Banzai concept :]
