That's an interesting thought. In RL, once your "charisma" has
won people over, they tend to _stay_ won over until you make some major
mistake -- but it'd be _real_ confusing to try to create some rules that
reflect this. So, what do we do?

Sounds like the Karma pool rules would work well for this.
