As we all know, the principle of "Geek the mage first" applies to
both sides of law-enforcement war, and those nasty shadowrunners
won't be likely to spare the mage that is supporting your Fast
Response Team. That's why Ares developped our new weapon:

The Ultimate Magic Gun_

Can be shaped like any gun you wish, from Light Pistol and up! Works
best in SMG+ sized package, though.

The Magic Gun_ consists of a gun-shaped body, purely optical camera
linked to a 500 m of fiber-optic cable on a special spool, goggles
and one Mage (Shaman or Sorcerer will do as well)*. The first 5
meters of fiber-optic cable near the gun are sheathed in Ruthenium
Polymers, making them hard to detect. Note that the spool is located
next to the mage.
Now you can bring your fireballs with you without endangering the
mage, and provide your opposition with a nasty surprise.

Also perfect for throwing Hellblasts around corners!

The total price of the package is 70.000¥.

*Small print: Batteries not needed and mage not included.

Designer notes: This will actually work, guys. And it's pretty nasty
when used with a drill (drill a hole in the shadowrunning scum's
bathroom ceiling and blast him with a manabolt/stunbolt when he's
taking a shower. ;P )
