I heard you re-did the Wavebook into CP stats. Well, since I know
Morninman (the original writer), I believe he wouldn't be pleased at
your conversion if you didn't have his permission. Also, just a
conversion wouldn't be so bad, but I hear you changed the names of
his items. Have you asked permission to do this? And have you listed
Morninman as the original writer of the supplment?

I know the Morninman has dropped off of netland, so permission is not
likely. However, I think that you should be careful what you do with
other people's works, especially if you have made unauthorized
changes.

Also note that since I was asked to collaborate on Wavebook (the
undersea vehicles design section), I will be finishing Wavebook on my
future web page. I haven't got permission (again, since
Morninman is no longer on email), but I will definately be giving
credit where credit is due. I hope you are doing the same...

P.S.: Please don't think of this as a flame...And I'd like a copy of
the Wavebook to see what you have done (so far I'm going on
hearsay)...

In my experience, though, he gives (gave?) permission easily. I found his
bioware article on a CP2020 web page, and when I asked if I could convert
it to SR (with appropriate credits in the article, of course), he
immediately said "yes."

Yes, he is rather easy going about that (as am I). However, since he is a
fellow CP2020 player and since my close called at being inadvertantly
ripped off by R.Talsorian (in chromebook 4), I'm sensitive to others altering
and posting other people's works without out at least acknowledgement of
the original works involved.
