T$R responds to competition by QUANTITY, not quality. Have you noticed
the exponential growth of sheer "stuff" that company's put out since
Gygax left/was forced out?
FASA releases a SR publication every 1-2 months, it seems. T$R, on the
other hand (AD&D, mainly), will vomit up another $25.00 boxed set
whenever someone working in the building has an idea for another campaign
world or a two-hundred level dungeon. (...and now, from T$R: "Water
World", by Harry Smeggenston, our finest janitor. Only $25.00. Coming
next month: Six modules for our newest world, two Spelljammer modules for
WW, and, of course, an $18 "Water World Handbook"...)

PS: How many of you (who've gone this far) have sub/notebook computers?
I'm going to be purchasing one soon, and I'd like some advice, or input,
as far as models go. I'm looking at Toshiba, IBM, and Compaq, and I
haven't yet decided to go subnotebook or notebook. Please give me
thoughts on your experiences! E-mail me at <rasputin@***.umd.edu>.
Thanks in advance!
