We have 51 people registered on this list, yet we only have eight ID#s
issued, seven Atlas registrations and only TWO Power Players
registrations.

What the bloody hell is going on? Is everyone jsut free-loading along or
are people actually going to contribute? Is the project dead before it
was even alive?

I'm CONSIDERING submitting something. I'm not positive if I will yet,
but...

In other words, if I get the time, I'm doing a Champaign-Urbana
(rewrite over the NAGEE 3)

Personally, I would love to contribute some interesting corporations
and organizations to NERPS, but the fact of the matter is, I have to
unsubscribe in less than two weeks. I don't think I have the time,
finals and all, to put a decent amount of work into some Power
Players. So, I'm just seeing what everybody else is doing out of
curiosity. If this was still going on next fall, then I would leap
into the fray, but unfortunately the deadline was set for July.

School.

School is what is going on. We are near the end of the semester where everyone
is studying for finals and finishing up projects. I am going to try to do
SteelWood Technologies on tues - thursday since I have a final at 10 AM on
Tues and the next one at 7:30 AM Thur. I might even have time to do
Rainbows Inc. as a Power Player entry.

There is the big possibility that this project was dead before it began because
of the time it will be happening in - everyone leave college for summer or just
goes on a few weeks break before summer school when you don't have as much time
to do things.

Speaking solely for myself, I fully intend to contribute. I've just wrapped
up finals, and will request an ID shortly.

My suggestion for the name: NERPS Sketches.

NERPS Foundations is fine, too, although I think it might be suggestive of
deeper exploration of material that I understand the intent to be.

Perhaps we should see how things go until the deadline, and then
optionally extend it if there's not a lot to it. (God knows I have enough
NERPS to do now...Tulsa and Pittsburgh)

Fearless Leader, I wonder if perhaps the project should be
extended to last over the summer -- until mid-August, perhaps. School
schedules make very little difference to me personally, as I am not a
student (yay!), but I wouldn't mind having more time to submit schtuff.

Good thought...the current NERPS project could also be called
"NERPS Foundations." I like "Sketches," but then I'd still be happy
with
"Foundations" or "Places To Go, People To See, Things To Do." *grin*

Thanks, but...wrong NERPS. You might want to save it for
Shadowlore II, or perhaps keep it as a seperate file.
I'd be interested in seeing your list on SHADOWRN, though.

I doubt it.

Call it dead until everyone gets back from break (September, there may
be some stuff). I'm evne probably going to do something for it...

I'd hope not...I still have some things I want to work on, and
probably will even if this NERPS is closed. Perhaps the list could
become dedicated to something else, and we'll just send you the Atlas and
Power Players submissions directly.

Not quite dead but probably in a coma state. Maybe it would be a good idea
for it to be revived in the Autumn, with summer coming up and all.

Well, Scott, we here on the NERPS list have a plan to freeze
ourselves cryogenically so that we can become real Shadowrunners in sixty
years or so. The only problem is, nobody can decide who is going to
spend the intervening time locked in a sterile environment so that they
will live long enough to let the rest of us out.
If you read the NERPS FAQ, you'd know that.
