THE TOME OF THE SECOND AWAKENING
(submission registration guidelines)

In an effort to make catalogging all of the submissions for the TOSA
project easier, I am going to attempt to keep a 'registration database'.
This is simply an archive of short files that provide an overview of each
of the submissions, so that when it comes time to determine what is or
isn't suitable for the project, everyone can make a decision if need be
based only on the shorter overview, and not be forced to read the lengthy
files.

To maintain conformity, the registration has several fields that need to
be filled out. An example form is provided and when you submit your form,
you shoudl use a format that is similiar.

EXAMPLE FORM

SUBMISSION: Race: Pixie
DESIGNER: Robert A. Hayden
E-Mail: hayden@*******.mankato.msus.edu

DESCRIPTION: The pixie is a small, 3-foot tall winged person. This
file lists the racial characteristics (stats) ad well as
providing a brief overview in the 'scientific' format used in
the SR books.

Submission = Simply a title for your document. If it is a spell, label
it as such. Totems, races, fluff, etc shoudl also be properly
labeled.

Designer = Your REAL name. A submission CANNOT be accepted without an
author.

E-Mail = An email address of the author, if available.

Description = A simple overview of your submissions. It can be as short
as one word or a couple of paragraphs. The purpose of this
is to give the reviewers a quick idea of what the entry
is.

----------------------------------------------------------

All submissions should be mailed to Robert Hayden
<hayden@*******.mankato.msus.edu> where they will be archived and
categorized. After about a month of collecting, perhaps around mid to
late August, the task of selecting those things for the final project will
begin.

Details of that process will be made available as that time gets closer.

Random Thought:

Many are called, few are chosen. Fewer still get to do the choosing.

These messages were posted a long time ago on a mailing list far, far away. The copyright to their contents probably lies with the original authors of the individual messages, but since they were published in an electronic forum that anyone could subscribe to, and the logs were available to subscribers and most likely non-subscribers as well, it's felt that re-publishing them here is a kind of public service.
