Okay, as YoYo was my posting, I feel I perhaps need to clarify...

YoYo is an NPC with an extensive history, but not a personally played
character. While his Mono Whip "rating" does not match that of Rook, I
wanted to make it clear to those interested that he is quite skilled in
the use of the weapon, and I was indeed writing from a "shadow-dancer"
level; therefore, his rep means something, even to those vets who can tell
the difference between a wannabee and an experienced runner at first sight.
To be brutally honest, YoYo couldn't give half a thought to who's best at
what, including the effective use of his favourite weapon. He's not an
egomaniac. It may seem unusual, but not everyone at or near the top of
his field dreams of domination or world recognition.

I do not post often; I am satisfied in my usual position of an onlooker.
But anyone who is familiar with my writing and gamemastering knows I am
someone that rarely exaggerates. I enjoy painting a vivid picture, but I
know the difference between vivid and outrageous. YoYo can be defeated
like anyone else, but I wanted to make it clear that he is someone
difficult to find, has a loyal following, and knows his trade. It is
unlikely that, unless Rook is a target, YoYo would ever evaluate him. I
imagine that YoYo could, as a result of surveilance/information
gathering, find Rook too fearsome in person, and find other ways to
deal with him.

But I digress. My point is, in YoYo's instance, what I wrote is accurate
and is information available to any street snooper worth his salt. I
don't believe I exaggerated, or laid my manhood on the table; and, as a
result, don't intend to revoke him or alter the description.

I know this has been a rather long and defensive writing, and apologize. It's
already been a rotten week for me, and wouldn't feel any better not
responding to this. =^?
